Lenovo contacted Alpha Marketing to assist in promoting their compact laptops to senior level executives. Together, they determined they would ship 50 of these laptops free of charge to their target audience, and needed someone who could "kit" these packages with special promotional materials, and have them arrive on the same day across the country. The clients requested tracking numbers as well as serial numbers per person be recorded with the order fulfillment

Riley Life Industries (RLI) relied on their extensive experience assembling and packaging special materials, and sourced a custom shipping box that allowed the computer to be safely shipped, and the promotional materials to be front and center when the package was opened. Using UPS, all orders were sent 2nd day delivery, so all arrived on the same day for all companies. Using our bar code reader, we were able to load the serial numbers from each order as they were being packaged, and the clients were sent a spread sheet at the end of the day detailing who was sent one of the laptops including their name, address, title, serial number and UPS tracking number. As a side note, six of the fifty addresses provided to RLI contained incorrect zip codes, and RLI’s software picked up the discrepancy and made the correction before the packages were shipped.
